This past May, Ania and Chris Gil began the most difficult fight of their lives—the fight for their son Nathan’s health. It all started suddenly when Nathan stopped walking. After rushing him to the hospital, doctors discovered a tumor pressing against his spine. He underwent surgery to regain his ability to walk, followed by rehabilitation as the family anxiously awaited test results.
When the results finally came, the news was devastating: Nathan was diagnosed with pediatric bone cancer—Sarcoma. Immediately, treatment began with chemotherapy and radiation, which Nathan faces with incredible courage. While other kids return to school, Nathan spends his days in the hospital, supported every step of the way by his loving mom and dad.
Refusing to give up, Ania and Chris searched for the best care available. Their journey led them to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where treatments for pediatric cancer are more precise and carry better success rates. But these lifesaving treatments come with overwhelming costs.
We are reaching out to ask for your support—whether through financial help, prayers, or simply sharing Nathan’s story. Together, we can show this brave family that they are not alone, that they have friends who care, and that hope is always alive.
